WHEN ARE WE OPEN

The Bowls season takes place between April and September.

We have no official opening hours but with plenty of bowls going on throughout the season the club is open for fixtures, Social evenings and other events that are taking place.

Summer Months (Apr-Aug)

Tuesdays

On a typical week Over 60's fixtures take place on a Tuesday Afternoon at 2.00pm so if it is home fixture the club will be open from around 1:30pm. Later on a Tuesday evening we hold training sessions for new and existing members, Training usually get's underway from 6.00pm with the club being open from 5.30pm.

Wednesdays

Wednesdays are midweek team games, The fixture takes place on a Wednesday evening at 6.00pm, So if we are home the club will be open from 5.30pm onwards.

Thursdays

New to the 2022 season we hold an inter club mixed triples league so come on down from 5.30pm every Thursday to enjoy this new format of bowls to Crosskeys.

Saturdays

Saturdays are when our first team is in action. Games start around 2:30pm, So if we are at home you can usually find the club filling up from 2.00pm and then we are open until late in the evening.

Whilst Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are when you are most likely to find the club open there's every chance you'll find someone down the club on the other days of the week. With competitions, Cup games, Social nights and other events taking place the summer months are often busy down the club.

Winter Months (Sept-Mar)

In the winter months when there's no Bowls taking place we open the Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Social evenings. To keep up to date with the latest goings on at the club just visit our What's On page.
